| Children of all races,
creeds, and religions are welcome. Children's individual learning
styles are respected as the children are challenged to reach their
fullest potential. Children may enroll at any time during the year. A child aged 2 1/2 to 6
years old, who is reliably toilet-trained, is eligible to attend
Kingwood Day School. |

Each child enters the school for a trial
period of one month, at which time an evaluation of the child's
adaptation to the class will be done.
Application forms and
enrollment information may be obtained by contacting the school office
at 281-354-5237. A $35 nonrefundable fee must accompany each application
for a new student. For additional siblings, the fee is $25. This process
assures your child of a place on the waiting list.

 When a vacancy occurs,
applicants are placed in order by 1) date of application, 2) previous
Montessori/school experience, and 3) siblings in the school. An
interview is then scheduled to determine the child's readiness for
school, to introduce the child to the classroom environment and
procedures, and to establish communications between the teachers and the
family.
